She is equipped with a 150 hp six-cylinder Perkins engine which will cruise at 7.5 knots, complete with a three-plus day fuel tank, and a Polaris inflatable with a 5 hp Mercury outboard. This 30 ft. sloop was built by George Olson at Pacific Boats in Santa Cruz, California in 1982 with then-revolutionary ultra light displacement boat (ULDB) fiberglass construction. Fast and maneuverable, the Olson 30 sailboat is known nationally and internationally for winning in tough ocean races against boats 10 and 20 feet longer. Goshawk come equipped with a main, three foresails- staysail, 100 per cent and 150 per cent genoa and two spinnakers. Rod rigging and double Harken Racing foil forestay.
